On a three acre site, this converted fort set in a commanding position above the pretty coastal village of Mirhleft is a rustic style guest house with 2 pools, including a smaller one for children. Offering privacy to guests, it is perfect for summer visits as the site is cooled by the sea breeze, whilst in winter it offers a heated swimming pool.

Bedroom suite

Accommodation:  A wide choice of accommodation is on offer: 6 standard rooms, 10 suites with bath or shower, 6 berber rooms with small private patios and an independent villa which is ideal for families. Some rooms have a fireplace. Only the Royal Suite has air conditioning and heating.

Location: Accessed by a track about a kilometre long and on the north edge of Mirleft,112 miles south of Agadir on the Atlantic coast, it offers a convenient stopping place on a tour of South West Morocco.

Services and other points to note:  An attractive, comfortable, lounge with library, free internet, a safe in reception, hammam, heated swimming pool and massages available. Trekking, horse-riding and paragliding are available in the area. In addition sea-fishing, surfing, and diving can be arranged. Traditional musical entertainment also available. Despite its name, there are no camels!

Meals: Breakfast is included. Tasty traditional evening meals are served with flair and originality in the charming dining room.

Staff: Jean-Francois is the charming French owner, with a relaxed and welcoming manner. He does not speak English, but some of the staff do.
