This beautiful, stylishly restored riad enjoys an easily accessible location with excellent views from the terraces. Available for exclusive rental only, this spacious and airy house may accommodate up to 9 people in its 5 bedrooms. Dar Forty Seven’s stunning décor is not as ornate as most Fez riads; it also has the benefit of more windows than most and a slide over roof to the patio.

Accommodation:  The house lends itself to rental by a pair of families or friends, with self contained areas for sleeping on 2 separate floors.On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a twin without a bathroom. On the ground floor there is a double & a single sharing a shower room. Double rooms have king size beds.  There are 2 fully equipped kitchens, one on the ground floor and one on the back terrace with barbeque near to the outside dining area. The front terrace has sun loungers, parasols  and a rainforest shower and a toilet. There is a spacious salon with sofa seating for 10 by the fire, dining table, TV with DVD and board games, and two rooms are air-conditioned..

Location: Conveniently located near the western edge of the medina, bordering the old Jewish jewellers’ quarter of Lihoudi, it is quite easy to find after the first visit.

Services and other points to note: Minimum stay 2 nights.  A comprehensive information pack in the house is supplied. There is a live-in cook/housekeeper. Air conditioning in 2 of the bedrooms on the higher floors. Snug in winter due to the roof that  may be slid over the pation in colder weather.

Meals: Breakfasts are included. Evening meal or lunch are available on request for an extra charge.

Staff: You will be met at Bab Guissa, the gate on the western edge of the medina by the attentive gentleman who oversees the house. The charming housekeeper prepares meals and cleans daily.
